My Mid Semester Break

Its been quite a long time since i pour my thoughts and experience on this blog. however, now that I've came back, i would like to share a bit on my mid semester break recently. To be frank, nothing was special this time as I didn't go back to my hometown. but i went for a "Anak Angkat" program that was held for 4 days and 3nights at Cameron Highlands. even it sounds plain and boring, but I successfully to make it as fun as i could. I'm not there for participation, but as one of the Media representing our university- Kelab Media Mahasiswa(KEMSIS)!

On the first day, we shoot some slots of the opening ceremony during the day. The committee did some cultural show on traditional dance and also Gamelan. after that, they continued with the dividing of 'anak angkat' to their host families. meanwhile, on the night, we had some prayers and gather at the mosque.

The second day, as early as 6.30am, my crew and i woke up and went to the Teh BOH Farm for some shooting. it was very nice and cold up there. i also got the chance to go up to the top of the view point over there! how magnificent and precious nature that i got to see from there and for the moment, i prayed and thanked Allah for the most beautiful nature he gave us. during the night itself, we had some karaoke's session and also the BBQ! how delicious the food can be when it's warm and we ate it in the cold and chill surroundings of Cameron Highlands.

The third and final day went smoothly and the program's Flash mob also went well. well, when its time to say good bye to the host family and the home stay, deep inside me, i felt a bit loneliness as I know, after that moments-I'm going to start my semester again and deals with the hassle and the busy city life.

I will be missing these precious moments and i really wish that i can come here again for another visit.
In a nutshell, i can say that my mid semester break is really AWESOME! i really enjoyed it and feels as if i went back to my hometown and my beloved village..
